Welcome to the Studio
This is where the journal begins.
Every maker has a first entry — the one that feels both tentative and overdue. This is ours.
Why a journal
We started writing here because the objects we make have context that doesn't fit in a product description. The reason a design went three directions before finding the right one. The material that almost worked. The decision to keep something simple when it would have been easier to add more.
That context is part of the work. The journal is where it lives.
What to expect
We'll write about process — how pieces come together, what we're working on, what's not working and why. About materials, about reference, about the choices that don't show up in the final thing but shaped it completely.
Occasionally we'll write about the broader world of designed objects: the things we admire, the things we think the design world gets wrong.
No schedule. Just when there's something worth saying.
